Mayor Aalbers called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM.

    That the Governance and Priorities Committee Meeting Minutes dated February 13, 2023 be approved.

Administration presented the 2021 Outstanding Stormwater Utility Charge - Transfer to Taxes information report to the Committee. 

The Committee received the Fire Service Annual Report for 2022.

Councillor Torresan exited the meeting at 2:39 PM. 

The Committee was provided with the 2022 Quarter 4 RCMP Report.

Councillor Torresan returned to the meeting at 2:44 PM.

Councillor Buckingham exited the meeting at 3:04 PM and returned at 3:06 PM.

Councillor Diachuk exited the meeting at 3:12 PM and returned at 3:13 PM.

The March 20, 2023 Governance and Priorities Committee meeting reconvened at 3:36 PM.

Administration provided the Committee with a report highlighting comments made by the public during a recent presentation. 

Administration presented the Draft Downtown Façade and Building Improvement Program Policy to the Committee.

Councillor Torresan exited the meeting at 4:41 PM.

Councillor Torresan returned to the meeting at 4:43 PM. 

The Committee was presented with updates to the Downtown Are Redevelopment Committee Terms of Reference. 

 

Administration presented the Draft Tax Arrears Agreement Policy to the Committee.

The Committee was presented with the Draft Procedure Bylaw. 

Administration presented the Draft Designated Offices Bylaw to the Committee. 

There were no requests from the media.
